I am Bubbles, and I'm very passionate about clothes and the entire art and science of clothing!
I am very fond of clothes (I'm sure u all are!). I talk to my clothes, and they talk back to me. Everyone has lucky charms and for me they're my clothes.. Some clothes lend their lucky charm to me and that's why i keep them for special occasion where I need that luck. I feel, just like you need to treat people in the right way, so do you need to treat your clothes in the right way. I take great care of them (ofcourse not more than my loved ones..but you know what I mean...)
And because of this great affiliation of mine with my clothes, I went further to do my Masters in Fashion Management from NIFT. It bought me closer to clothes and made me learn a lot about fabrics, trims, silhouettes, styles and the entire retail gamut of how clothes are made, marketed and sold.
After that I went ahead to become a merchandiser in a renowned retail firm. I got practically exposed to how clothes are made, marketed and sold. I studied various brands, the range and theme they come up with every season, etc..
And here I am, a Fashion Friend for you...
What I have observed over a lot many years is that not everyone is same, be it personality, likes/dislikes or simply your body. And brands just sell clothes, but they do not sell the idea that everything can't be worn by everyone. Marketing makes everything seem so attractive and television makes it a must-have! And then there are magazines and websites that tell about everything that's in trend, in vogue, in fashion and that u should have it in your closet!
But like a doctor is needed to cure you from an illness and set your diet on track, a Fashion Consultant can do the same thing when it comes to buying clothes and spending your hard earned money into making you look good!
